Whisky live London 2011 – A phoenix from the ashes?

If you attended the 2010 Whisky Show you might be considering forgetting all about Whisky Live this year and saving your cash until November. Especially if you did go to last years Whisky Live, which was difficult to get to and seemed that the chaps for Berry Bro’s and Rudd had the only stand note worthy (damn that Laphroaig they had was great! Tasted like blackberries.)
However, this years event may present a shining ray of light as it has moved to a new venue. Yes, it’s finally accessible and also an easy walk to Brick Lane for a salt beef bagel afterwards!
The new location is the Honourable Artillery Company Armoury House, City Road, London, EC1Y 2BQ. An amazing historic 18th Century mansion set in a six acre garden located not to far from Moorgate tube.
Tickets are slightly cheaper than the Whisky show so my expectation of the offering is tailored to meet the ticket price, but I’m going to pop down and give it a go.
Great step moving guys & looking forward to the change.
Over and out
Darren
